What is considered tardy?

A student is considered late (tardy) for class if he/she is not in their seat when the passing bell stops ringing at 8:00 am.

As a guideline, the attendance clerk may excuse a tardy for the following reasons: medical appointments, illness, possession of a hall pass from the faculty, admit to class from the school office.

If a student misses the first three periods, the tardy will become an absence.
