Rebecca grew up dancing and performing on the coffee table for her family. She attended BCS from preschool through ninth grade. During her 5th grade year at BCS, she took a worship/tambourine class instead of PE and decided that she wanted to be a dancer. She went on to attend the Alvin Ailey American dance theatre and even performed twice with the Moscow Ballet. Her desire is to ignite a passion to dance in her students and create a safe environment for them to learn, fail, and succeed. She thinks it is not only important to learn good dance technique, but also to love what they are doing. She loves to spend time with family, sew, and take advanced dance classes.
