Stephanie Richardson joined the BCS staff in 2018, after completing three years at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). She moved to Redding, CA from Boston, MA; where she earned a Masters degree from Boston College in Elementary Education, and a Masters degree from Northeastern University in Public History. She also holds a Bachelors degree in History from Bryn Mawr College, with a concentration in African and African-American history.
Stephanie has been teaching, tutoring, and training children and adults for over ten years. When she left her job in the field of education to attend BSSM, she had no idea where it would lead. After a visit to BCS at the end of her third year, she realized that combining her academic background with her ministry school experience was one of the most world-impacting things she could do with her training! She believes that young people hold immense creativity, intelligence, and energy that God wants to use to see Him Kingdom come on earth. She loves helping to building learning environments where students search for answers to questions that really matter, learn from one another, and call out the greatness in their classmates. She hopes to impart to her students her gifts of intellectual curiosity, prophetic creativity, and a heart for reconciliation and justice.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.” (Isaiah 61:1)
