Bethel Christian School welcomed Cara Gibson to our teaching staff in 2015. As a teacher, she enjoys developing vibrant learning environments where students can flourish and grow in their love and understanding of learning, of the Lord, of who God has made them to be, and of one another. She has a passion for helping students connect individually to God, and loves activating students in the supernatural through a wide variety of creative forms. Her classroom is engaging, challenging, and creative, and she seeks to provide her students with authentic experiences of changing the world, which is what God has created them to do.
Cara grew up in Australia, where she taught 4th and 1st grades over four years. Having come from a public school background, Cara thoroughly enjoys combining her Aussie experience and training (in areas including collaborative teaching, inquiry learning, and restorative practices) with the Kingdom culture at BCS. She completed three years at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in 2015. She holds Bachelor’s degrees from Australia in teaching (K-12) and music (violin performance with honors).
Cara is passionate about recognizing the gold in each of her students and in supporting them to grow and flourish as individuals in every area of their lives. She enjoys creating with and learning from the Holy Spirit and others, and teaching her students to do the same.
